It was Thanksgiving this last weekend so off Thursday through Sunday. Thanksgiving is a great time, like Xmas but without the hassle of gifts.
On Thursday we drove down to Lake of the Ozarks and had Thanksgiving dinner with Jen's Mum's side of the family. I had met all of them before so was a good time, eat lots of food, turkey, mashed tatties etc, the usual. We stayed Thursay night at the families lake house, only problem was there is no heat there as it is really a summer house. I got a good fire going in the fireplace so I was fine, but Jen and her sister felt the cold a little bit more.
On Friday we were back up to St Louis for the STL Blues ice hockey game, they won three to one so was a good game. On the drive back to St Louis we stopped off and did a couple of hikes, which was nice.
On Saturday we were back down to Lake of the Ozarks for Thanksgiving dinner with Jen's Dad's side of the family. Another good meal but had to drive back to St Louis that night so was tired. Sunday was spent relaxing and did a bit of shopping, getting a couple of extra things for the condo now that Jen has moved in.
