Thanksgiving weekend

The last thursday in November is Thanksgiving day in the US and this means Thursday and Friday off work. On the Wednesday night we started off the long weekend by watching a charity boxing event at the ScotTrade Center (formerly the Savvis for those who read the blog regularly). There were 17 bouts and the fighters were from the local police and fire fightinh forces, therefore the event was called Guns'n'Hoses. The police regained their title after losing it to the firefighters last year. On Thursday and Saturday we were round at friend's houses having Thanksgiving dinner, absolutely stuffed my face. On Sunday tried to make up for it by going for a long run, this coming weekend I have a 15k road race, which is the first in a five race series over the winter.
