Cardinals win world series

Friday was mad, as well as getting the condo and car sorted out, our local baseball team won the world (for world see American) series. They won game 5 of a seven game series to get an unassailable lead of 4-1 and they did it in St Louis, the downtown area was jumping, lots of people and cars going about tooting horns. We watched the game at a friends in Illinois and came back about midnight to celebrate with a couple of beers only to find our local turning people away because they ran out of beer.
