Well the last few weeks have been a bit hectic. We decided over the holidays to move forward our plans to buy a new house. The plan was to move in a couple of years and get a bigger house in a good school district. But with the interest rates at rock bottom and the proprty market a buyer's paradise we decided to start looking now.
Over the last two weekends we have seen probably close to 20 houses of which only a couple manage to pass our long list of requirements. There is one that Jen really loves and we're hopefully going to put in an offer on it after next weekend. It is owned by a relocation company, some executive or something must have been asked to move by his company and the relocation company looks after dealing with the executives old house. Unlucky for them they bought it just before the market crashed so were hoping to take advantage and get a good deal on it. I'll keep you posted on that.
