Tampa Bay Florida

This weekend we flew to Tampa Bay, Florida. I had a free flight through Southwest from all my work travels to Texas. Sounds good but the free flight cost a bit in the end by the time you add in Jen's flight, hotels, eating out.

On the Friday we went to Ybor State Park museum. Ybor city is part of Tampa Bay and its history is rooted in the cigar industry. The town was originally built for the purpose of housing employees for a new cigar factory back in the late nineteenth century. At night we went to a comedy show and then out for a few drinks.

Saturday was spent suffering after both of us waking up with a hangover. We headed into downtown Tampa for lunch, it was pretty quite so we headed back to the hotel area and went to watch Saw V at the movies.

On Sunday we went to the Florida aquarium, which was pretty good but not worth the 20 bucks entry fee. We flew back Sunday night.
