Memphis weekend

This weekend Jen and I went to Memphis, it is only about a 4 hour drive south from Saint Louis so easy to get to in a weekend. On Friday night we went Beale Street, which is where a lot of Blues bands play, it is also pedestrianised so there is a lot of activity and it is warm enough to sit outside with drinks. On Saturday we started off visiting an old Indian village called Chucalissa that has been preserved as an archaeological museum, then we went a nature reserve, it was really busy as was free for the day so lots of families there. Then we went on a Mississippi River boat tour, which was good. On Sunday we went for a hike just north of Memphis before heading back up I-55 to St Louis.

On Monday night me and Steve went to see the Scissor Sisters at the Pageant, didn't like them!
