Honeymoon - Part one

We just spent a week camping in New York State, about 6.5 hours drive west of New York City. We set off on the Saturday morning, 4am to be precise and got to the campsite about 13 hours later, mostly driving. We took the pop-up camper so I had to get that set-up once we arrived.

After that though it was a week of relaxation. We took a day trip to Erie, PA and Buffalo, NY. Buffalo is the main city on the States side of the border with Cananda and is close to the Niagara Falls. In Buffalo we crossed into Canada and drove down the Niagara River to the falls. A beautiful drive with lots of big mansions facing the river.

We also visited the Zippo lighter museum in Bradford, PA, they even had the original first zippo ever made. Other than that we mostly drove around and did some hikes during the day and then at night would get a campfire going, toast some marshmallows and drink some beer.

Honeymoon part 2 will be the UK. See you there.
